The Papalee Live band has been lighting it up at Jax Bar & Grill in Glendale for the past 3 months, and now the run has been extended!
Papalee Live will be performing every other Wednesday through December, January, February and March. See the flyer for the specific dates.

We’ve had some very special guests, some great music and a whole lot of fun. The food at Jax is delicious and the band features the talents of veteran keyboardist Steve Lang, Mark Meadows on bass, Scooter Powell on drums, Daryl Darden on guitar, and yours truly on the mic. We will be adding a new set of material for the holidays, and another set of classic and contemporary soul at the beginning of 2009. Remember, there is no cover and now drink minimum – it’s our own brand of economic stimulus. We are going to rebuild this economy one cd at a time! We want to see you there!

I was quite surprized, this band is FABULOUS!! Have been going to Jax for past 2 years and have never heard a band of this caliber, beside Preston Smith (differnt kind of music though). Love the R&B, and I loved the song chcices. I have heard about this band and was told to go see them,but dont really go out on a Wednesday night. What was I thinking, this Band is so worth staying out on a weeknight. Went Jax last Wed., 2/18 and plan to go back on 3/4. I never danced at Jax, but did on this night, til 1 am. The band played many of my favorites and had me moving all night. Just incredible energy. I am a fan
